Badger Region Junior Beach Doubles Clinic Friday, July 25, 2008 at Bradford Beach
The event will be held 10 AM to 3 PM and includes skill development and game strategies for male and female junior players, ages 10-18. The fee is $50 for USAV/Badger Region members.

Badger Region/USA Volleyball (November 1-October 31)
All players will need to renew their membership for this series.
1. Full Adult Membership, $40 OR
2. NEW THIS YEAR - $20 OUTDOOR Volleyball Membership for the entire season. Note: this membership is
ONLY for sand event in Badger Region. If you will participate in ANY indoor 6's competition, you will need a
Full Adult "Regular" Membership.
3. OR, for Men's A only - "$5 One Event" Membership if you want to try it out - good for one event only.

Rules:
All Badger Region Beach Volleyball tournaments are co-sanctioned by Badger Region/USA Volleyball and AVPNext and will be administrated and officiated under the rules and guidelines of USA Volleyball Beach Domestic Competition Regulations and the AVP Rulebook.
Tournament Formats
Open events will utilize a double elimination format using the Olympic Crossover process for determination of semi-finals and finals.
Events will be seeded at the discretion of the Tournament Director
All matches will be played best two of three games; games 1 and 2 to 21 points, no cap; game 3 (if needed)
will be played to 15 points, no cap.
Teams will switch sides every 7 points in games 1 and 2; 5 points in game 3.
All matches are rally scoring.
Men's/Women's A and Juniors may play a pool play format. Seeding and format will be at the discretion of the Tournament Director
Officiating
Both players from each team will be responsible to officiate a match or matches as determined or requested by the TD - NO EXCEPTIONS. One player will be designated as the official and must stand while officiating. A whistle is required. The other player will be the scorer. This player may stand or sit. Badger Region will provide a roving official for all tournaments. This official will officiate the final matches.
Check-In/Tardiness/No-show Policy
Both players are rquired to check-in at the Tournament Desk at the assigned check-in time - NO EXCEPTIONS.
If one or both players are not present at check-in, the Tournament Director will reserve the right to forfeit your first match.
Any player/team registered for an event that fails to show, will forfeit their entry fee and may be subject to a double entry fee for the next event.
Inclement Weather
We will not cancel or delay the start of an event due to weather at the tournament site.
We will reserve the right to suspend play based on inclement weather at the event site.
