Can you imagine how amazing it would be to have the Olympics in our backyard, Chicago? They are in a battle with 3 other amazing cities to host the 2016 Olympics. We only have until October to show that Chicago has the support of the masses of the USA. They are using youth sport associations across the country to show that support. Below is more information and the link to the web page to get your club, your team and your kids involved. Compete against clubs your size for 2016 Olympic Warm-up or an Olympian to come to your practice or tournament. But even if you don’t win, you will have helped bring the Olympics to Chicago where we can easily experience the excitement!!!! It costs nothing to be involved – just your time to point and click. We don’t want to be sitting here in October, saying if only we had…
The Volleyball Challenge aims to enlist supporters, recruit volunteers, and raise funds from across America. Sign up, and earn points for all the support you generate. These points can be cashed in for official Chicago 2016 gear and other special prizes (like custom warm-ups) for you, your team, and your club. Your club can even win a visit from an Olympian!
Best of all, you can help Chicago 2016 win the honor of hosting the Olympic and Paralympics Games--right here in America. You only need to go http://support.chicago2016.org/site/TR?fr_id=1050&pg=entry Then click on the "directors: Register your club" to register your club for this program - and compete to win cool Chicago 2016 prizes.

Why Play Beach Volleyball? The beach game is GREAT for improving your indoor skills/game. Whatever the player weaknesses, they get to work on them a ton. Unlike the six-person game, players touch the ball every rally, and with just two players to cover the court, players learn to read and anticipate much better. Dealing with the sun and wind helps them to become more adaptable. Player height is less important outdoors - - ball control and skill are most important. It is a great way to improve players’ jumps. Communicating effectively is essential to the sport, and the game helps teammates to grow stronger together.
