If you are a fan of elite men's volleyball or you have friends that are involved in men's or boys' volleyball I strongly urge you to watch the 2009 Molten Division III Men's Invitational Volleyball Championship on April 17th and 18th. This tournament is on the endangered species list. As the popularity of men's volleyball continues to grow at the Division III level we have finally surpassed the required number of teams to mandate that the NCAA create a new National Championship tournament specifically for Division III men's volleyball. Within the next few years the Molten tournament will no longer exist and the NCAA will be taking over responsibilities for the tournament.

Tune in to watch as Ramapo College, Juniata College, UC Santa Cruz, and Stevens Technical Institute compete for the chance to become of one the final Molten D-III Men's Invitational Volleyball Championship teams in history. You are certain not to be disappointed with the elite level of play that you will see.

New for 2009!
Bring in a new adult team for the 2008-09 season (new team must participate in four tournaments plus the Region Championships) and Badger Region will give you $200 at the end of the season!
If you are a new adult team and you play in four tourmnaments plus the Region Championships for the 08-09 and 09-10 seasons, you will get $200 after your second season.
Want to host a tournament but are not sure you can pull it off? We will provide a site director for your first event to help out!

March 20th
All other diviisons will send their entries directly to USAV

USA Volleyball is working up a plan to conduct what would be the equivalent of an Adult High Performance Championships (region all star teams) to be held at the Chula Vista Resort at Wisconsin Dells from August 27-29, 2009 for Women’s and Men’s teams. So, in essence a team is formed to represent your Region at this event. I certainly hope to attract some foreign teams to this event as well. More information coming on this in the next week or two. General Program Information
The Badger Region/USA Volleyball Indoor Season runs from late fall through the USAV Open Championships at the end of May. Tournaments are held about twice a month, January through April. If you are interested in forming a team, go to "forms" of this web page and download a copy of the "Adult Team Rep Handbook". You can also contact Jenny Hahn in the Region Office, jhahn@badgervolleyball.org and we will send you a hard copy.

At this time, Badger Region offers events in indoor men's and women's 6's and indoor/outdoor sand 2's. Indoor skill levels are AA, A, BB, and B. Outdoor skill levels are Open and A. For Information on Indoor 6's events, click on "Adults" and "Tournaments". For information on our indoor sand and outdoor Sand 2's events, click on "Beach Volleyball".
